Fasting Exercise for Self-Discipline
Just as in the Holy Bible, Proverbs 25: 28 emphasizes the essence of self-discipline. This virtue if absent will make every human being vulnerable to all forms of socio-spiritual hazards.
The Ramadan fast harps on the need to have self-restraint, this is a major reason for making it compulsory for all adherents of Islam. Ramadan Kareem.

The Maintenance of Self-Restraint

The Almighty Allah places emphasis  on the observation of the following to develop self-discipline :
1)Drinking/eating during the day is prohibited.
2)Having sexual affairs during the day is also prohibited.
3)Breaking the fast with alcohol.
4) Adherents must not curse or use abusive words while the fast is on.
5)They must not also engage in adultery, backbiting, or slander.
6) They must avoid any immoral act.
Take heed to be successful during the Ramadan fast. Ramadan Kareem.

The Exception Law

The Almighty God emphasizes in the Holy Quran 2: 185 that the Ramadan fast is not meant to punish adherents of Isalm, but to reform them and fortify them socially and spiritually. Hence the relaxation law in favor of Islamic adherents with due respect for certain unusual conditions that may have to do with human health issues.
The aged ones who do not need much food, but a high level of nutrients for their upkeep to the pregnant ones who need balanced diets for the sake of the development of the fetus and the mother's health to be able to have a safe delivery. The mother is equally exempted during the breastfeeding period because the child needs the nutrients from the mother.
Those who have terminal diseases which require terminal drugs are equally exempted from the Ramadan fast.
However, the following shall repay the missed fasting days after the Ramadan fast for the count to be 29 or 30 days.
The affected are those in the menstruation period, the sickly ones, and the travelers who suffer from heavy fatigue.
How merciful is our God? Ramadan Kareem.

Security Essence

The Almighty Allah declares His presence wherever there is the tranquility of the mind and wherever there is peace in the environment.
The Holy Quran 37: 1-4, therefore, admonishes every government and institution to take as a matter of paramount importance, the issue of security. ''By those who rate themselves in ranks(orderly manner), those whose souls are strong in repelling evil(security agencies to note), those who thus proclaim the message of Allah(the cleric) to emphasize the essence of being scripture compliant and to be exemplars in this respect because the whole essence is to preserve the heritage of oneness of God.''
May the devil never hijack our pleasure into upheaval. Use the Ramadan fats to ensure peace. Ramadan Kareem.

Divine Inspiration

Do you realize that our social pursuit on matters concerning our assumed yearnings for maximum realization of our destiny is purely materialistic?
This does not matter to God, hence, most of the time our yearnings are premature as faith. For a maximum realization of our destiny, we must totally surrender to the will of God to be given the divine inspiration to articulate our social desires in order that our objectives and goals are realized with ease and maximally too.
The Holy Quran 17: 21-22 refers, ''See how we have bestowed more on some than others; but verily the hereafter is more in rank and gradation and more in excellence. Take not with Allah another god or thou O man wilt sit in disgrace and destitution.''
Ponder well on this and make the necessary adjustment. Ramadan Kareem

Fear of god

The Fear of God Promotes and Resolves Differences by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5The Fear of God Promotes and Resolves Differences by Prof. Sabitu OlagokeThe main purpose of religion is to a positive mindset and arouse conscience for people to have direct access to God to live exemplary lifestyles based on doing things through the due process that is according to the curriculum or laid down rules without default.

Those who enjoy such grace will have the characteristics, endowed knowledge, and the power of a discerning mind. A meaningful socio-spiritual life depends on this to be self-fulfilled.

Sensible people do things the right way while senseless ones are frivolous and wayward.

-Legalizing Crime and Criminality

The Holy Bible, Proverbs 1: 7 admonishes us on this,: ''7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.''

In the Holy Quran, 8: 29, the need for and the importance of the fear of God is clearly stated. ''O ye who believe. If ye fear Allah He will grant you a criterion to judge between right and wrong, remove from you all evil deeds and forgive you: For Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.''

Fear of god 1

The benefit of living by the dictates of God that culminates into the fear of God not only extends to the protection of children but equally affords us the opportunity to triumph over evil like the snares of death.

The Holy Bible Proverbs 14: 26 refers, '' In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.''

-Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality

Above all, there is the need to sensitize every person through the media of culture, education, religion, and political institutions on the importance of good neighborliness, the virtues of scripture compliance, and the respect for the dignity of labor and legitimate earnings.

The Holy Quran 10: 62-64 specifically explains the reason why every person must work towards being acknowledged by God, the almighty Allah. ''Behold! Verily on the friends of Allah, there is no fear nor shall they grieve. Those who believe and constantly guard against evil for them are Glad Tidings in the life of the present and in the hereafter: No change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme triumph.''

A word is enough for the wise.

Education 6

Govt and Parents have roles to Play to check the Dwindling Performance of Students-Prof. Olagoke

Prof 5The performance of pupils and students at the elementary, secondary, and tertiary levels of education in Nigeria, over the years, has become a source of worry and concern for parents, guardians, and other stakeholders in the education sector.
The prevalent mediocre staus that characterize the products of mots of these educational institutions now constitute a major reference point for various categories of discussants.
The Founder, Spiritual head, and Grand Imam of Shafaudeen-in-Islam Worldwide, Prof. Sabitu Olagoke opines that parents and guardians must put in more effort in grooming their children and wards, spiritually, morally, and educationally.
Prof. Olagoke also asserts that the government at all levels should initiate concrete policies that shall reduce hunger and poverty to the barest minimum while at the same time increasing the annual budgetary allocation for the education sector. Excerpts :

The overbearing influence of hunger and poverty in Nigeria has culminated in the lack of motivation and the attendant loss of commitment towards rendering selfless service is one of the major reasons for the unimpressive performance of pupils and students in both internal and external examinations.
The harsh environment brought about by economic hardships and insecurity is not conducive for learning.
The factors impeding the performance of pupils and students include the overbearing influence of parents and guardians on their children or wards on the choice of course of study. This is without consideration for the intelligence, interests, ability, and capability of these children and wards.
Other impediments include poor study habits, psychological adjustment problems, distraction, low retention, the effect of the wrong peer group, emotional challenges, low achievement motivation, health challenges, lack of financial support, and time management.

Education 7Read-Helplessness in the Face of Dirt
In addition to this, absenteeism and truancy are now adopted as a normal routine for several of these children due to the loss of interest in the academic programs.
For the parents, noticeable fundamental defects are lacking in the area of proper guidance and the provision of basic learning needs including reading materials.
Also, the inadequate interaction with the children and their teachers, family problems, and financial difficulties paint the parents in a bad light.

-Legalizing Crime and Criminality
For the teachers, the use of verbal reinforcement strategy is absent, punctuality is lacking, poor interpersonal relationships and the authoritarian approach to teaching are impediments. So also is the inequality among students.
Furthermore, the syllabus coverage is not encouraging, absenteeism is the order of the day, poor teaching methods dominate the school system, incessant strikes, and the diminishing interest in the quest to ensure that students understand what they are taught.

-Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality
For the school, the large class size with limited teaching materials constitutes major impediments.
Trailing the learning environment which is not conducive, is the shortage of reference materials for the practical courses and the use of audio-visual materials is non-existent.
Above all, there is no proper orientation towards research.
The Government must address the following to ensure that pupils' and students' performances improve :
1)Unstable educational policy.
2)Leadership problems and challenges.
3)Poor supervision and monitoring mechanism.
4)The shortage of specialist teachers in schools-capacity building essence must be regular and directed towards the areas of need.
5)No job security and a consistent report of job losses.
6)Poor salaries for teachers, irregular payment of their salaries, and the lack of incentives to motivate them.
When all these are addressed, pupils and students would be able to perform creditably well in internal and external examinations.

Engage in Philanthropy without Hypocrisy by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5The deterioration of profile that routinely increases hardships for the people and also creates the poorest of the poor economy is avoidable. Even when the government is not forthcoming in the areas of the provision of the basic amenities and infrastructure.

Unpleasant consequences are also avoidable if we can be scripture compliant by heeding the voice of God.

In the Holy Quran 92 : 5–7, the almighty Allah states, ‘’As for the one who is charitable, mindful ˹of Allah, We will facilitate for them the Way of Ease.’’

This is fundamental to the concept of philanthropy and must be imbibed as a culture.

Read-Helplessness in the Face of Dirt

However, there are due processes to be followed for charity to be methodical without abuse.

In the Holy Quran 2 : 270–271 the due process to follow is structurally emphasized.

‘’(2:270) Allah knows whatever you spend or whatever you vow (to spend). The wrong-doers have none to succour them.310 (2:271) If you dispense your charity publicly, it is well; but if you conceal it and pay it to the needy in secret, it will be even better for you.311 This will atone for several of your misdeeds.312 Allah is well aware of all that you do.’’

-Legalizing Crime and Criminality

In the same manner, the emphasis on the due process to be followed in dispensing for charity is cavalry stated in the Holy Bible, Matthew 6 : 1–4, ‘’1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.’’

-Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality

If charity dispensation is formally organized, it becomes a divine construct which may not allow any form of abuse.

It is applicable to all spheres of life, starting from the home front to the community servcie arena and the society at large. It is, therefore, important to train ourselves on how best to say No to miserly lifestyles.

There is a saying, Charity begins at home, while the society stands to benefit from the concept of give and take, care and share.

-Law Enforcement: The Reactionary Approach

The Holy Quran 92 : 8–13 refers, ‘’But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient and gives the lie to the best , we will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong into the Pit. Verily we take upon us to guide and verily onto us belongs the End and the beginning.

Be rightly guided by philanthropy rather than been miserly.

Role model 1

Role Model Virtues for your Freedom by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5Every individual is expected to be law-abiding in society, that is, to enjoy socio-spiritual immunity for total freedom. There is the need to be morally conscious and disciplined to attain the status of a role model in society for others to emulate.

However, when the virtues are lost, man is vulnerable to shame and disgrace.

To be upright a person must not be wayward and frivolous. This is imperative for the relevance of religion in society and to ensure peace and development.

The Holy Bible, Matthew 5: 20-24, refers,''20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

Role modelRead-Legalizing Crime and Criminality              -Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.''

The Holy Quran also corroborates the above, verse by verse with a perfect synergy to prove the oneness and universality of God, whose voice every man must heed.

The Holy Bible Matthew 5: 20, ''20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.'' and the Holy Quran 2: 42 emphasize the need to be a vanguard of truth. '' and cover not truth with falsehood, but we must control our temper, embrace patience as well as tolerance, as a culture to promote unbroken social interactions. In the final analysis, As in Matthew 5: 23-24, ''23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.'',

the message of the Holy Quran 41: 34, refers, ''realize that goodness and evil can never be equal. Repel evil with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate !''

Let us realize that no good relationship can be established with God except with heed His admonitions, if and only if, we want a better world order. No prayer request from God shall be granted without having a sense of forgiveness, love for neighbors, and pardon for perceived enemies. Let today be a turning point.

This is the only way by which we can realize our freedom on earth the role model virtues to be an exemplar.

Religion 1

The Essence of Religious Rites by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5Religion is a school of divine construct to achieve full social desire through faith building based on a positive mindset. This is for the purpose of attaining a perfect and good God/man relation.

Read- Legalizing Crime and Criminality

The Holy Bible Matthew 5 : 13–16, ‘’Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.’’

-Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality

Religion

The Holy Quran equally asserts in 91 : 7–10 that we must realize and consciously live by the provisions of this scripture to be able to live by good examples as role models with constructive actions on earth.

7. “And by the soul and He Who perfected it,"
8,”Then inspired it to understand what is wrong and (what is) right for it,"
9. “Indeed he succeeds who purifies it,"
10. “And indeed he fails who corrupts it.”

Religious rites must, therefore, not be trivialized or put into the second fiddle of the classless state of rhetoric.

Religious rites is very essential in every aspect of life and has socio-divine benefit.

Leadership and Followership Essence in Democracy By Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5Democracy in the real sense is expected to be a consensus of opinions by all relevant stakeholders, whereby the need of the people are addressed by those entrusted with the power to rule for the purposes of the continuous improvement on the welfare of the people and their wellness.

Read-Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality

The Holy Bible is a guide for better understanding. Romans 13: 1-5, ''Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

  Read-Legalizing Crime and Criminality

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.''

It demands, therefore, voting into office credible leaders who wil address the enligtenment essence of the people to be governed for ease of followership.
The leadership and followership synergy must be viewed through the perspective of enabling a good justice system for the effective  implementation of programs and projects through the concept of equity for the system to enjoy peace and sustainable development.

The Holy Quran 38: 26 on the issue of justice and equity as the bedrock of a functional democracy, (Prophet(Dawud) is used an epitome of rulership by example). It refers, '' O david ! We did indeeed make theea vicegerent  on earth : so judge thou between men in truth and justice : nor  follow thou the lust of thy heart(say no to dictatorship), for it will mislead thee from thee from the path  of Allah : for those who wander astray from the path of Allah, is a Chastisement Grievous, for that they forget the Day of Account.''

Ghandi 1

Rulers or leaders are are more accountable to God who will judge all actions. All positions of responsibilities shall be assessed  by the people, but evaluated by God, the almighty Allah, who will have the final say on the day of judgment.        Read-Law Enforcement: The Reactionary Approach

In conclusion, individuals who find themselves in power should dispense same with the fear of God.

Adultery

Enjoy Your Own Wife Only by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5God almighty will not compromise his stand on truth and falsehood, Godly behavior, and satanic influences. Respectively each of them attracts rewards and consequences of punishment.

Adultery, therefore, becomes the most hated act condemnable by society and almighty Allah.

Unfortunately, a very high percentage of mankind, prefer to live promiscuous lives, making the environment to be charged with the menace of torments and unpleasantries mainly because they are not scriptural. The following chapters and verses of the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran are vital food for thought.

The Holy Bible, Proverbs 5: 15-20 refers, ''15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.

18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?''

Adultery 1To be able to achieve successfully the above admonition and live a Godly life, the Holy Quran admonishes all believers in Islam who are qualified to be called Muslims in 4 : 3, '' If you fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans(women considered to be of low class). Marry women of your choice, 2, 3 or 4; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with them, then only ONE or that which your right hand possesses (your heart's desire). That would be more suitable to prevent you from injustice.''

Human failure to follow the above injunctions has led to serious cases of separation, neglect, and the most distasteful act before God-divorce. This has led to the consequence of poor child-rearing, making the homes produce problem children. We must all, therefore, be conscious of the need to respect the sacredness of marriage institutions as established by the almighty God, for mankind to be able to produce and establish a virile nation.

The Holy Quran 30: 21 refers for all to be able to live by the fear of God for exemplary lifestyles bequeathable to posterity.

''And among the signs is this that He created for you maids from among yourselves that ye may dwell in tranquility with them and He has put love and mercy between your hearts: verily in that are signs for those who reflect.''

If we are able to live by the divine codes, most especially on these injunctions that admonish that we should live decently, marriages would be saved and child-rearing would be successful to produce better generations that would be able to develop rightly, building on the solid foundation of today. Enjoy your own wife only.

Life 1

Golden Rules for Exemplary Lifestyles by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5Life is without falsehood or deceit is exemplary. This is the expectation of God from every human. The failure of mankind to respect these golden rules is responsible for the sate of insecurity in several nations.

We need to continue to remember that without divine intervention, human efforts will always go into nullity, which translates to chaos and pleasant situations.

Let us, therefore, respect the sacredness of our faith, through been scripture compliant in our chosen religion for the world to be devoid of injustice and marginalization which are always the root causes of human disaffection.

This is buttressed in the Holy Bible Proverbs 29 : 14–23, ‘’14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.

15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.

17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

19 A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.

20 Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.

22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

23 A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.’’

Similarly, the Holy Quran 2 : 269 refers, ‘’He granteh wisdom to whom He pleaseth, and he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing ; but none will receive admonition except men of understanding.’’

For all troubled nations to attain a state of felicity we must base exemplary lifestyels on the virtues spelt out in the scripture.

Life 2

The Holy Quran 3 : 134–135 not only corroborates the essentials of the golden rules of exemplary lifestyles in the quoted verses of the Holy Bible.

Hence, there is a need to heed the admonition that follow.

‘’Those who spend freely whether in prosperity, or in adversity : who restrain anger and pardon all men:- For Allah loves those who do good and those who having done an act of indecency or wronged their own souls. Remember Allah and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah ?- And are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in the wrong they have done.’’

Use the SWOT analysis for the above mentioned bible verses of wisdom for exemplary lifestyles, to be able to make necessary adjustment to achieve the goal of safe and secured environment for rapid development. Thereafter, live by SMART concept to be able to heed the admonition of god from the above mentioned Quranic verses, daily to be able to attain the pious state of an exemplar. Heed the voice of wisdom.

Liberty 1

The Right to Personal Liberty by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5From the religious point of view, the right to personal liberty of any individual is naturally restricted, when sinful acts are committed, criminal or civil, in a way that the long hands of the law catches up with such an individual. As a result such a person’s movement is restricted.

There is a need for all to conscious of the fact that the right to personal liberty guarantees the quality or state of being free. This makes us to realize the fact that the ability to do as one pleases must not be abused, since it guarantees a benefit of freedom from physical restraint, freedom from arbitrary or despotic control and the positive benefits of various socio-political or economic rights and privileges.

Liberty 2

The right to personal liberty is freely enjoyed by children and the youth in their Id and ego stages of life, whereby parents are totally responsible for their care and protection. This is why good parenting is required to ensure that the children enjoy the right to personal liberty under their parents.

In the general society, the power or scope to act as one pleases extends to the state of being free withing the society, from oppressive restrictions imposed by the authorities on an individual’s way of life.

This equally bothers on the two perspectives of behavior and political inclination.

This makes it imperative for every citizen to be law abiding by ensuring that one’s liberty is never used in form of abuse or in an act which may be harmful to a person, society or the nation at large.

Indeed, personal liberty must be cherished by channeling it towards the positive aspects life to make one independent, self-sufficient, innovative and creative, straightforward person to be trusted.

Personal liberty leads to the empowerment of the citizen, who contributes positively to a nation’s development.

The right to personal liberty, therefore, ensures that every citizen irrespective of status is entitled to personal liberty and must not be deprived of such liberty, except in a procedure permitted by law.

We come with Nothing we Leave with Nothing by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5The craze for wealth by humans will go beyond the perception of vanity, if and only if an individual can think of others in the sense of caring and sharing for neighbors to be catered for.

Money spent on others with appreciable impact in addressing their needs will justify the essence of the world would have been far better to live in amicably without the unnecessary fear of unwarranted exigencies of sorrows, most especially from those who may feel marginalized and hostile nation or society.

The neighbor in the spiritual is greater than self.

Ecclesiastes 5: 15-17 is a good reference point.

''15 As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.

16 And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath labored for the wind?

17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.''

With sadness and joy, an individual keeps on with life while alive. What then is the essence of cheating on others to make it in life. A number of people engage in ritual killings for quick money.

Why do we neglect the dignity of labor, hard work, and a symbiotic form of living with others?

A parasitic form of living is as bad as living in affluence without considering the wellness or economic status of others.

Vanity 1

The Holy Quran 6: 94 emphasizes the futility of human struggles and the emptiness of life itself if it is devoid of having fellowship with others to minimize sadness but maximize joy. There is internal peace for all givers will never lack. For we come with nothing and we will leave with nothing.

''And behold! Ye come to Us bare and alone as We created you for the first time: Ye have left behind you all favors which We bestowed on you: We see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs. So now all relations between you have been cut off and you pet fancies have been left in the lurch.''

Do not acquire wealth illegitimately because the consequences will be on you alone and by extension, the generational curses may follow like a cloud of jinx in the family's genealogical order.

Only God can give peace and tranquility to the mind, but divine intervention will never reach out to people with anti-scriptural behavior. Let us remember that once the fundamental needs are met in terms of food, clothing, and shelter as human physiological needs all other things do not add value except luxuries which in most cases bring about misfortune due to the miserly approach of using them or lack of philanthropic gesture by those who are endowed.

It is, therefore, imperative to be rightly guided to always remember that we come with nothing and we will leave with nothing. On this, be a moderate exemplar.

Law and order

Law and Order by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeLaw and order is an instrument that determines happenings in an environment to prevent insecurity and other unsavory situations. There is a saying that goes thus, '' Where there is no law, there is no sin.''
This implies that the aberrations of life such as waywardness and frivolities are avoidable.
Law and order encourage the people to do the right thing for the good of all. In any environment wherein law and order are effective, the safety of lives and properties are guaranteed.
For the leadership network in government to ensure law and order, the right policies must be in place in addition to the assurance that justice and equity are enabled.
When justice and equity are lacking in governance would experience a myriad of challenges.
The election and appointment of people of integrity who are competent to manage the affairs of any institution or government are imperative.
The breakdown of law and order could bring in its wake, the mismanagement of resources and poor governance.

Law and order 1
Law and order ensure that there is the promotion of accountability in the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of government. This, in turn, facilitates public confidence, support, and trust for the government.
The dictates of the constitution must be obeyed by both the government and the people, for the law and order to thrive.
The Civil and Public service laws regulate the affairs of the Civil and Public servants. The  Scripture regulates and controls the affairs of religious adherents.
Professional ethics must be followed to the letter to be corporate in professional practices.
In the final analysis, the constitution of any nation, therefore, must be effectively utilized without abuse to promote justice and equity for ensuring a safe and secured society that must be sustained through peace and accelerated development.

It is fundamental to note that if we fail to maintain good neighborliness as our service to humanity our religious activities towards God will automatically come to nullity.

The story of the rich man who refused to follow Jesus Christ gives more insight into the Holy Bible Matthew 18: 16-24,''16But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglects to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican.

18Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

21Then came to Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.''

God 8

For any nation to achieve in the area of justice and equity to be able to have peaceful co-existence and sustainable development, the concept of philanthropy must be inbuilt into the culture learned and practiced to drastically reduce or exterminate poverty otherwise one would not be able to meet up with the admonition of the almighty Allah in the Holy Quran 90: 4-18, ''Verily we have created man into toil and struggle, thinketh he that none hath power over him? He may say boastfully wealth have I squandered in abundance! Thinketh he that none hath power over him? Have we not made for him a pair of eyes, tongue, and a pair of lips and shown him the two highways? But he hath made no haste on the path that is cheap and what would explain to thee the path that is steep?

It is freeing the bound man or giving of food in a day of deprivation to the orphans with claims of relationship or to the indigent down in the dust. Then he will be of those who believe and enjoy patience(constancy and self-restraint) and enjoying deeds of kindness and compassion such are the companions of the right hand.''

With all the churches, mosques, and other faith-based organizations around, claiming to have the direct line of God, there is a need to ask the people why democracy does not work amidst them, judging by the spate of insecurity everywhere. What then is the relevance of the houses of God and the scriptures, when the people fail to utilize their spiritual potency expected to reflect in achieving social desires. Wholesome service in the vineyard of God goes beyond religious exercises but extends to our care and service to humanity through the keeping of good neighborliness.

Adherents of all religions are expected to be change agents that are already reformed to be able to transform for good the people and the environment.

Be ready to play your owen part well from today.

Intimidation by Prof.Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeIntimidation is an outburst of human aggression to resolve matters without having regards to the rule of law.
This always happens in an environment of that is not orderly perhaps due to the weakness of the leader or the failure to apply the rules of law in the power dispensation.
Cases of intimidation, most of the times, may create an environment of fear in the individual or people been intimidated.
Chains of reaction arising from this, may result in anarchy or a state of chaos leading to a breakdown of law and order.
This is the reason why the issue of intimidation must be addressed with all seriousness.
Aspirants for leadership positions must also be sensitized on how best to control their temperament and the effective use of the rule of law to resolve issues.
Basically, leaders must embrace management by equity and administration by justice to avoid the possible feeling of being cheated or marginalized in order that no one would be tempted into intimidating others.
Intimidation may come from persons given positions of authority they are not competent to occupy.Leaders by their nature always want to be respected with their views being implemented by their subjects without delay or hindrance.

Now4However,when policies are rolled out but considered not feasible due to the poverty of ideas of the leader, people are bound to resist such order.
This may warrant the leader to exercise wrongly his executive power through intimidation.
This kind of action exposes the weaknesses and limitations of such a leader making him or her to be vulnerable to serious agitations which may ultimately cause chaos and eventual stalemate in development or if the situation is not properly controlled, it may lead to the eventual removal of the leader.
Poor governance in several nations have degenerated the fabric of discipline to the point of lack of peaceful co-existence.
In such a nation, characteristics factors of intimidation would manifests blackmail that usually create fear of possible shame and the loss of goodwill.
When this is not properly controlled further intimidation would follow to make sudden wealth, while those who intimidate enjoy illegally acquired money, the victims become indebted or sickly.
In summary, therefore, intimidation in all forms and ramifications as a process of discouraging or restraining fellow human beings from acting by threats, blackmail or violence must be guided against grooming the people to respect the rule of law in resolving issues as well giving due regards to the fundamental human rights of others for the purpose of enhancing peaceful co-existence.

Civil

Freedom by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeOver the ages, absolute power was discovered to corrupt absolutely, similarly, absolute freedom could as well lead an individual astray through its overbearing nature with tendencies to become overbearing. This usually manifests in the patriarchal setting wherein women's rights are most of the time trampled upon. This is why gender mainstreaming becomes an issue to promote inclusiveness for a better world order where stigmatization and marginalization shall be completely absent.
Curtailed freedom becomes an issue of abuse if the searchlight is on probing the activities of the slave trade experience.
In this light, freedom, and independence have a direct correlation through which a nation can be assessed. Nations, where corruption and institutional indiscipline thrive, will ever depend on foreign services through loans and debts by successive governments. This would bring in its wake political instability as a result of poverty and its attendant consequences such as armed robbery, ritual killings, insurgency, pickpocketing, terrorism among several others.

Civil 1
The essence of child-rearing and natural nurturing through formal and informal education to the point of adulthood for maturity, professionalism for the right career. The child is given the opportunity to enjoy freedom and independence to be able to be a change agent or a game-changer in the scheme of transforming progressively.
Any nation that fails to develop the youth in the right way will ever deny them the right to freedom and independence with the consequence of lagging behind in the committee of nations and a much dire consequence on its people not being able to cope in the world of global competitiveness.
In the final analysis, freedom as a primary condition of enjoying civil liberty must be the behavioral objective of culture, education, and religious exercises for political gladiators to emerge in a society where freedom is sacrosanct for the right and accelerated development.

Pure

Factors Upholding the Concept of Puritanism by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeThe demand of God from man is to identify the variables that are the determining factors for the realization of body preservation from sins, crimes, and soul purification from devilish thoughts.

The Holy Bible, Mark 7: 17-23 refers, ''And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23 All these evil things come from within and defile the man.''

Pure 1

Let us take an in-depth look into our ways of life, so as to be able to work on the weak areas for us to be wholesome in our religious practice. This will enable us to achieve a perfect God/man relationship that would set us free from the clutches of satan.

The Holy Quran 7: 157 offers us effective solutions for ease of achieving body preservation from sins and crimes as well as soul purification from devilish thought processes considering the four variables that characterize our behaviors and attitudes in life.

1)Role modeling what is just.

2)Forbidding what is evil.

3) Consider what is lawful as good and pure only.

4) Prohibit what is bad and impure.

The goal is to avoid frictions in our social interactions as well as to be vulnerable to poison through food and drinks.

Divine promise for those who can with the fear of God observe the four articles of faith above is a free offer from God as a favor and reward of just worship or been scripture compliant: Releases them from the yokes that are upon them. Be wise.

Faith 2

Stand Right in your Faith by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeFaith is a link between man and his creator.

Mankind has two challenges on this: that God is all-encompassing hence there is no basis for discrimination. And that religious activities have conditions for acceptance before God.

The declaration of God in the Holy Quran 2: 62, ''Those who believe in the Quran(the Muslims), and those who follow the Jewish scriptures and the Christians and the Serbians-any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.''
All adherents are, therefore, identified of which only one is good on the issue of achieving tranquility of the mind, peaceful co-existence, safe and secured environment, and sustainable development.
There are some adherents who do not allow the word of God to take root in their minds.
Another set of adherents are those that are like a rocky edge, without room for in-depth knowledge resulting in stunted growth because the root of the seed or words of God cannot get to the mineral resources bed of life.
The third type of adherents could be regarded as suffering from bad peer group bandwagon effect where the adherents are filled with the worries of a life-Godly mind with a satanic environment.

Faith 3
The fourth one that is good can bring forth the expected buoyant yield could be likened to that of the fertile soil of Godly mind in a Godly environment.
References to back up the above claim could be sighted in the Holy Bible Mark 4: 1-10, Holy Quran 11: 113, 18: 27-28.
In the Holy Bible Isaiah 6: 9-10, ''And he said, Go, and tell these people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10Make the heart of these people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.''
The Holy Quran corroborates this assertive judgment of divine substance in 2: 6-7, '' As to those who reject  Faith it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe. Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing. And on their eyes is a veil: Great is the chastisement they incur.''
From these lessons let there be a paradigm shift of positive turning effect on your attitudinal disposition towards God and His words by standing aright in your faith to be a good vehicle of God and a veritable tool for development in your society.
Only God can make things work, I need God, you need Him, we all need the almighty Allah. Give Him total submission to His will to overcome barriers of life and quench the inferno of insecurity.

Divine 1

Divine Judgment by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeMost often, human beings forgive people for what they perceived as offenses against them which out of the offenders' acts of soberness and repentance may necessitate an individual to declare forgiveness.
In every human system, the customary, magistrate, high, appeal and supremer courts have jurisdiction to hear and judge cases.
However, most times the judgments emanating from these courts are controversial.
Religious books unanimously agree that human beings must not be judgmental to the level of condemning others, most especially when perceptions are different on the same issue at stake.
We must rather live to tolerate one another and to role model virtues to be able to correct perceived aberrations from others.
Divine judgment from God is justified by the claim of been our creator most especially on the ways we live our lives justly or unjustly, sinfully or sinlessly, crime-prone and crime-free.

Divine
In a situation wherein lies are peddled to live comfortable lives, the law of natural justice or karma or retribution is bound to take emerge.
We can now appreciate the scriptural submissions that our activities here on earth with the interplay of very many forcers surrounding us deviate us from the path of righteousness for a test or assignment to be assessed by the almighty God our creator.
Divine judgment, therefore, should be seen as eternal and more grievous than any judgment human beings can give themselves.
Divine judgment should not be perceived in the negative sense, that is as a disaster or misfortune inflicted by God as punishment.
Judgment may favor the good ones and it may not favor the bad ones before God.
The scripture upholding our religious beliefs would only remain an article of test on the way we keep to it And live by it.

Human judgment is always bereft of divine substance, for the judge to be able to reflect into the past genealogical order before passing judgment.
To err is human and to forgive is divine.

Rich

True Riches by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeRiches are like a double-edged sword, wherein one side is evaluated through spiritual endowment and the other side through socio-economic achievements.
The Almighty Allah recommended due process for achieving riches.
The Holy Quran 11: 16 refers, '' There is no moving creature on earth, but its sustenance depended on Allah: He knoweth its resting place and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear record.''
The regulatory measure, therefore, is preferred as a due process of acquisition of wealth through the dignity of labor by legitimate means. If we follow this, the created social classes would have been justified through hard labor and competence, with the consequential result of promotion to get higher classes of economic and social levels.
However,  tur riches become elusive when we illegally acquire wealth without any regard for the due process of legitimate earning.
Corrupt enrichment, therefore, erodes away the spiritual endowment, making the victims wallow in the bondage of satan.
The Holy Bible, James  1: 9-11 becomes food for thought to be rightly guided on true riches from the legitimate acquisition of wealth. ''9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.''

The lesson from this is that beyond the fundamental need, luxuries must be allowed to go into the areas of services where others are in dire need to promote the principles of equity.

Rich 1
The Holy Quran 13: 26 refers, '' Allah doth enlarge, or grant by strict measure, the sustenance which He giveth to whom so He pleaseth. Thew worldly rejoice in the life of this world: but the life of this world is but little comfort compared to the hereafter.''
This corroborates, that for believers true riches are given by strict measure with the accompanying endowment of the Holy Spirit.
Wealth acquired, therefore,  through unjust means or injustice would have trampled upon the fundamental human rights of access of others by depleting their resources for the dubious man to live in affluence.
The almighty God, therefore, declared in the Holy Bible, Isaiah 59: 1-2, that He is all caring, saving, hearing, and seeing, and ready to answer people's requests, most especially the believers.
The Holy Quran 2: 45 refers, ''Nay seek Allah's help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard except to those who are humble.''
Seek, therefore, for true riches through the respect for the dignity of labor and legitimate earning as a believer to be endowed by the almighty Allah with spiritual richness and tranquility of the mind, with all promises of God guaranteeing people's safety and the security of lives and properties.

Tolerance

Tolerance by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 4The significance of tolerance among the people of the world is relevant when one considers diversity, most especially in the area of opinion molding about people.
Tolerance, therefore, needs to be taught as part of the socialization process in the search for peace and unity to be realized to a sustainable level of human social interactions, otherwise, the agents of socialization themselves may not even know peace, not t talk of having the ability to regulate and control intolerance for one another.
For example, on the homefront, the discriminative attitude in child-rearing by parents; may influence siblings to become intolerant of one another.

Tolerance 1Read-Legalizing Crime and Criminality
The absence of tolerance has resulted in the death of one of the parties in the homefront due to domestic violence.

Furthermore, the absence of tolerance has led to the loss of lives and the destruction of properties during religious crises.
For the realization of tolerance in religious circles, the internalization of the teachings from the scriptures is crucial to achieving peace, unity, and development.
In the final analysis, tolerance is essential to promote a safe and secured environment as an enabling instrument for the survival of the dynamics of all agents of socialization-the school, church, mosque, government, home, associations, peer groups among several others.
