Balance

Be Balanced

Balance ensures that you push forward ideas that would impact positively on your customers.

Whatever concept you have, make sure you carry along your team members and management for the best results.

For you to be balanced, you have to create the necessary modifications in your personal and professional life.

Discard all worries and friends that may serve as obstacles to your performance at work.

In addition, forego all activities that are time-wasting and of little or no value to achieve a balance in your daily life.

Place your trust in the Lord

When pray onto the Lord to save you. He will. Then you can face the future with confidence and joy.

1 John 5 : 1-13

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Peace

Peaceful Co-Existence through Unity for Peace by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Index 3For any society to have peaceful co-existence, the people must be united with high respect for humanity, taking all other factors that differentiate our identities to be secondary.

This is what the Holy Quran emphasizes as expected of every house of God to dwell their teachings and sermons on.

''The Holy Quran 49 : 13 refers, ''O mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other, not that ye may despise each other.....''

A high level of respect for these injunctions will make us realize our claim that God is one, as impressed in the same verse above. ''Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted with all things.

The Holy Quran 30 : 22 makes us to realize that our differences are creations of God which we must not lose to the disadvantage of others; ''And among the signs is the creation of the heaven and the earth and the variations in your languages and your colors : verily in that are signs for those who know.''

The Holy Bible : Mark 12 : 31 refers,'' And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.''

By extension, therefore, peace must reign in the houses of God for adherents to become epitomes of light and salt. For the world to be habitable and worthy of living.

Also, Matthew 5 : 13-16 is a good reference for religious adherents to be worthy of missionary work where they are expected to role model virtues and teach righteousness and peace to the people of the world.

''13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.''

The Holy Quran 3 : 104 refers, ''Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is god, enjoying what is right and forbidding what is wrong. They are the ones to attain felicity.''

Proverbs 31 : 8-9 is also instructive. ''Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.''

In the same manner the Holy Quran 47 : 35 wholesomely submits, ''Be not wary or faint-hearted, crying for peace, when you should be uppermost : For Allah is with you and will never put you in lose for your good deed.''

Abraham

Do the Extraordinary

Genesis 25 : 5-11

5 ''And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. 6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country. 7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years. 8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people. 9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre; 10 The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife. 11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.''

Walking with the Lord in the Light of His Word

Gen 1Genesis 4 : 1-15

''1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? 10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. 13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. 15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.''

Become a Positive Influence by your Good Deeds

1 Timothy 4 : 12-16

Regardles of your age or how insignificant you are, you can be a positive influence for the Lord.
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Pakistani Doctor Pleads Guilty to Attempting to Provide Material Support to ISIS

MINNEAPOLIS – A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization., announced U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger.

According to court documents, Muhammad Masood, 30, a licensed medical doctor in Pakistan, was formerly employed as a Research Coordinator at a medical clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, under an H-1B Visa. Between January 2020 and March 2020, Masood made several statements to others, including pledging his allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (“ISIS”) and its leader, and expressing his desire to travel to Syria to fight for ISIS. Masood also expressed his desire to conduct “lone wolf” terrorist attacks in the United States. On Feb. 21, 2020, Masood purchased a plane ticket from Chicago, Illinois to Amman, Jordan, and from there planned to travel to Syria. Unsustainable safe drinking water projects in Oyo State by Dr. Raymond Adegboyega

Pension

Protection of Pension Rights by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 5Pension rights set the ethical standards of due process that would guarantee a good future for the retiree after leaving service.

A case study of Nigeria refers : if an employee retires at the age of 50 years or more, he or she can have immediate access to the Retirement Savings Account(RSA).

Similarly, if an employee retires before the age of 50 years due to mental or physical incapacitation, he or she can have easy access to the retirement savings account.

Read-Legalizing Crime and Criminality

It is important to note and state that an employee who retires under the age of 50 years in accordance with the terms and conditions of employment will not access the RSA until after six months of retirement, if he or she does not secure another employment.

Pension 1-Landlords and Tenants Associations, Crime and Criminality

Cases of embezzlement by personnel in charge of pension scheme management has attracted international embarrassment to nations where such corrupt practices have been reported to occur. Such action, has on record, led to the untimely death of many retirees that fell victims within the period of dashed hopes.

From the religious perspective , it is inhuman to cheat on people that have, over the years worked for their livelihood. This is more worrisome when there is an unwarranted delay in the payment of their gratuities as well as their pensions, such actions if left unaddressed may lead to people still in service to become kleptomaniacs for the fear of the future.

Individual workers also ought to be protected by the provisions of the constitution to be able to build trustworthy people that would be reliable at work and committed to the cause of building a virile nation without defrauding the system at sustainable development level as a bequeath able legacy for posterity.

Piety

Live by Piety in Your Faith by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeThere is an urgent need for religious leaders to realize that they are susceptible to people's casts of doubt and aspersion on the way they run the affairs of our religious systems. This is because acquisition is necessary for an environment of doubt(where devilish things occur incessantly without control, even under the roof of very many people and the houses of God in particular).

The Holy Bible in Mark 3: 22-29 refers, ''22And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

23And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

24And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

25And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

26And if Satan rises up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

27No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

28Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:''

Pio

In the same vein, in the Holy Quran 22: 52 the Almighty God asserted that all holy prophets experienced the envious attacks of satan, but for their scripture compliance, it was possible for them to enjoy timely divine intervention, to be able to successfully deliver the message of God without hindrance.

The Holy Quran 16: 97-100, harps on the premise upon which satanic interference can take place but overcome.

'' Whoever, works righteousness, man or woman and has faith, verily to him will We give a life that is good and pure, and we will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions when thou dost read the Quran(the scripture), seek Allah's protection from Satan, the Rejected One. No authority as he(satan) over those who believe and put their trust in their Lord. His authority is over those only, who take Him as patron and who join partners with Allah.''

It is, therefore, left to I and you to stand aright in our faith to enjoy divine strengthing, or we live waywardly or frivolous lives that constitute the path to destruction.

Truth 2

Truth by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof olagokeTruth avails a nation while falsehood destroys it.
It also strengthens the bond of truce while falsehood weakens the ties of friendship.
In all spheres of human life, truth is an essential element for peaceful co-existence and interpersonal relationships on socio-political, economic, and business transactions.
Truth has to do with fulfillment and sincerity in agreement, keeping promises, respect for the oath of allegiance, and holding in trust resources for distribution based on the equity concept.
This is the reason why the concept of truth could be described as a fundamental code of life that must be learned and taught across the limes of formal, informal, and non-formal education to serve as the backbone of all socialization processes.

Truth 3
The element of truth, if altered, will always produce leaders without credibility and will ever rubbish efforts in realizing good governance.
Truth dictates that wealth acquisition must follow legitimate means for the resources to be able to create an impact on the expected targetted areas without creating room for agitations.
The Holy Quran  2: 42 refers, '' And cover not the Truth when ye know what it is  what it is.''
Above all, education is fundamental to the realization of the truth in any society.
This must reflect in all processes of parenting, friendship, teaching, and learning, scripture compliance challenge, business transactions, and political activities.
The truth must manifest in everyone and the society as the conformity to facts and reality.

Pope 3

Violence by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 2Violence disrupts a system's equilibrium of static of dynamic state.  It is a reaction to express dissatisfaction over issues or against personalities that do not meet up with the interests of the people.
The causes may be due to vengeance intentions or against perceived actions considered to undermine earlier agreements made between warring factions and the system they want to attract.
It is characteristic of non-organized societies, where hoodlums usually hijack a genuine cause or organized setting characterized by considered oppression acts that trample on the people's fundamental human rights. Violence disturbs and disrupts the socialization process and pushes the system into a state of chaos. At times, it paralyzes the socio-economic and political activities of the state or society.
Rape, pedophilia, woman battery among others are some forms of violence.
Also, the school is the second home of every child, in this respect bullying children is a form of violence.
Furthermore, forced initiations among cultists dehumanize the victims into becoming a cheap instrument to perpetuate violence.
Cases of gang rape always leave behind scars of fear that lingers for a long time in their lives.
As regards public institutions, Ministries, Departments, and Agencies,  there is always a disagreement between the management and the union, most especially on related issues of labor and economic shortchanging.
There is every need of r violence-related issues to be treated as a worthy subject in the home and the school.

ViolenceDisputes on land matters, territorial claims, ethnic or tribal differences may lead to violence. However, proactive measures by community leaders,
violence-prone.
In the religious sphere, denominational and sectarian differences with the challenges of an improper conjecture of the scripture for the ease of internalization may lead to intolerance of one another with such disdain that may lead to unwarranted hatred among acclaimed children of God.
How catalytic and irrational are such religious adherents who usually hide under the cover of religion to celebrate violence by killing fellow human beings.
Democracy equations stand on the strong legs of justice and equity, but when allowed to be altered,  will not only disrupt the peace and sustainable development process but promote an unsafe and insecure environment for governance.
Those in government may lose control if not rightly and timely checked.
Major causes of agitations by the people are poor and bad governance.
An environment of justice and equity is crucial to eradicating all acts of violence with our consciousness of the fact that dialogue is meaningful only when compromise is attained.

Civi

Inclusiveness : A condition for Development and Growth-By Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 1In a pluralistic nation with many different ethnic and tribal groups, there must be cultural type variations with corresponding diverse opinions and perceptions on the way people would view the process of achieving unity, growth, and development.

Every Nigerian believes and knows that inclusiveness is the bedrock of upholding the spirit of playing prominent roles in the scheme of nation-building.

However, it is no more so, as it manifests in the laws of such a virtue as patriotism, whereby the powerful tool in the national anthem, most especially, on how the efforts of our heroes past shall not be in vain becomes just a song and the objective of the pledge for the nation only lives as a mere tantalizing mirage because we all fail to walk the talk of the beautiful oath of allegiance.

Laws of patriotism have adversely affected our leadership and governance postures because of the attendant stance of Timocracy in our veins, making us think more of the benefits we may, individually and by chance, source from the opportunity of service.

Worse still, we see service as business as usual making the people lose interest in their leaders as well as influencing the people to believe that corruption is legitimate.

All Ministries Departments and Agencies including Parastatals are now been run through a lackadaisical approach as well as with no passion for the nation that belongs to all of us.

The challenges of inclusiveness have led to the marginalization of women in all spheres of our lives including the areas of decision making that even directly affects their lives.

Worse still, the government's neglect of people with disabilities is a product of our leaders' insensitivity to most of the international instruments from the United Nations on the need to domesticate such articles of laws, policies, and their implementation as they may affect the development of the nation and the wellness of the people.

From our era of the dignity of labor and work just for the affluence level, we are now in an era of kleptocracy in government, the disregard for the rule of law with blatant impunity with strange clauses in the constitution.

The unity of the nation is been threatened by the failure of the government to deliver the people from the shackles of poverty, hunger, and diseases to give way to insecurity.

In the face of injustice and inequality, there is a limit to which the fundamental human rights of Nigerians can be trampled.

We must, therefore, disallow the state of degeneration of the current situation.

In the Yoruba tradition, the broom usually resists the attack from flies, but when we allow the broom to scatter on the floor, people trample on it randomly.

Civi 1

We must not allow degeneration to set in, to the extent that the socio-spiritual state of every man would be negatively affected.

Those in positions of power, therefore, need to be sensitive and responsive to the people's yearnings for the necessary improvement of their wellness status, to promote inclusiveness for the people's sense of belonging to ensure unity, growth, and development.

Ra

Ramadan Fast(Daily Guide) By Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 1Sunday 18th April

Be reminded that the first 10 days of Ramadan fast is regarded as that of mercy, ask yourself if there have been any changes in your life towards this direction for you to be able to make possible adjustments in the following process of going about the Ramadan fast. Don't play the loser. Ramadan Kareem.

Monday 19th April

A solid foundation to every building always makes it withstand the test and the tides of the time without experiencing any form of collapse.

Body preservation from sins needs to be backed up with the determination not to return to the same after the fast. Equally, avoid criminal tendencies that may be forced through the sense of vengeance of lack. Observe the fast wisely. Ramadan Kareem.

Tuesday 20th April

Be reminded of evil in the following acts that have been condemned by the scriptures and that they are equally totally prohibited during and after the Ramadan fast for the Muslims.

1) Drunkenness.

2) Illicit affairs.

3) Hate speech.

4)Curse.                                                                                                                                          Ra 1

5)Backbiting.

6)Slander.

7)Adultery.

Be affirmative in refraining from them(Holy Quran 5: 89-90/2: 219/17:32/ Holy Bible Proverbs 20: 1/Matt 5: 27-28).

Ensure you digest the above-mentioned verses. Ramadan Kareem.

Wednesday 21st April

The benefit of the month of Ramadan starts with the first 10 days of its observance because it is a period when all sincere minds in the sacred month receive the blessing of answers to prayer requests for wishes to be fulfilled.

However, you still need to bear in mind that eating and drinking during the day, in the month of Ramadan, break your fasting. Having sexual intercourse during the day equally damages it.

To break fats with alcohol during this holy month patents you as an unserious mind that hates himself.

The Ramadan fats is a divine design that goes beyond mere human wishful thinking in concept and design. Be sensible. Ramadan Kareem.

Thursday, 22nd April

Refrain from deceit, but be part of those whose souls must be saved and their bodies reformed for them to be able to transform their nations as an immediate environment that must be sustainable for habitation.

This is why we must not trivialize the opportunities given to us by God to be alive with our correct senses to be able to get actively involved in this year's Ramadan fats to correct the ills and aberrations wrecking the whole land.

Don't limit the goal of piety and the fear of God to the period of the Ramadan fast only, but be spiritually rejuvenated to be able to wrestle power for the people of God in order that Satan is rendered impotent and put to shame. Ramadan Kareem.

God 3

Things People ought to do to make Heaven

ProfUnfortunately, a man with all impunity has abused the privilege given him by God to be able to have a habitable environment, a life of comfort, and a high hope of making paradise on our return journey to our permanent home in heaven.

The products of these three spheres of life have, therefore, been dehumanized into robotic status for the devil to be able to control mankind into the building and destroying all edifices endowed them to struggle to have a place in their political life.

At the individual level, there is a need to watch the things people do to avoid heading for the precipice of hell. Suffice it now to henceforth sanitize the conditions of our houses of worship where the almighty Allah has decided to attend to humankind on the issues of body preservation from sins and crimes as well as soul purification from devilish thoughts.

Matthew 6: 15-21 is therefore our focus to ponder on

''15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

17But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

18That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

19Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.''

The above statement is an emphasis that adherents of every religious sect or denomination must be scripture compliant, such people will shun all forms of transgression, illegitimacy, and corruption. They will equally shun ostentatious forms of life and the craze for materialism at the expense of other people's right to access the good things of life.

God 4

Before you make friends or keep the company of people, there is the need to watch the things they do, not to get unnecessarily corrupted.

In the same vein, the Holy Quran admonishes all the living ones on the essence of living exemplary lifestyles to be able to make heaven at the end of our journey or sojourn on earth, bearing in mind that procrastination is the thief of time because waiting for tomorrow may be too late because only our creator God the almighty Allah can precisely predict what will happen to us in the next second of the time count.

The Holy Quran 14: 24-26 must be perused to the level of our understanding and ease of application to suit our real-life situation.

''Seeth thou not how Allah sets forth a parable ?-A goodly word like a goodly tree whose root is firmly fixed and its branches reach to the heavens it brings forth its fruit at all times by the leaf its Lord. So Allah set forth parables for men in order that they may receive admonition and the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree: It is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth. It has no stability.''

Living exemplary lifestyles on earth has a direct correlation to the making of paradise or heaven, that is Janat.

Furthermore, the admonition from the Holy Bible needs to be sufficient for all of us to turn a new leaf not to relegate to a poor unwanted second, the countless number of Churches and Mosques as relevant articles in medieval times.

In the same direction, the Holy Quran 14: 27-29 refers to ''Allah will establish in strength those who believe with the Word that stands firm, in this world and thereafter; but Allah will live to stray those who do wrong: Allah doth what He willeth. As thou not turn thy thoughts to those who exchange the favor of Allah with ingratitude and cause their people to descend to the house of perdition? Into hell, they will burn therein,-an evil place to stay in.''

Are the rich thinking about the daily agonies been suffered by the poor, who are hungry and sick?

The soul of every human is in the hands of God. Be mindful of God, therefore, in all your dealing and daily transactions to be able to live exemplary lifestyles in order to make heaven.

Stand by what you Profess

ProfThe rot in government has a lot to do with the factors of elected or appointed personalities, not doing their work accordingly in the area of responsibilities of the system running on the provisions of basic amenities to enable citizens to be meaningfully engaged to prevent restiveness for peace to reign.
The poor attitude to work is equally a function of many factors that bother on incompetence, laziness, lack of focus, a lackadaisical attitude most especially towards government property and responsibilities. The factors of man in the area of management and administration, therefore, constitutes a societal menace as a clog in the wheel of progress and development.
This usually leads to the culture of moral decadence and institutional indiscipline. When such personalities are given admission or employment, the work ethic suffers because ab initio meri9t is los t in the whole process. The rot has extended into changing the supposed sacred heart of religious worship centers into profane houses of abuse and mere commercial centers.  When governance lags behind in the provision of functional infrastructure, trade and entrepreneurship become stunted with very low energy to transform the system into a real industrial initiative. The consequence of this will reflect in the following characteristic factors of retardation and agitation. People will suffer from poverty and hunger and the majority will ever lack in the area of meeting up with Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of needs-physiological, safety and security, social, self-esteem, and self-actualization needs including meeting up with personal hopes and aspirations. The religious sphere through their leaders needs to be thoroughly overhauled to reform clerics in strategic sermon preaching/lecture delivery to suit the need of the nation using the scripture as right references to process the adherents spiritually, in order that they are able to meet up with the social changes of the civil service, Ministries, Departments and Agencies and governance activities, most especially on the issue of ethical practices. To be able to have a paradigm shift from self-centeredness to that of selfless service, and collective responsibility, by this, we would not be putting square pegs in round holes in our scheme of service.
The training must extend to the clerics'  public appearances when in the media-by refraining from the anti-state act of hate speech to the value that would unite every citizen and reform the people to be patriotic towards national goals and values.
Teaching the scripture and living by it will not only help us restore institutional discipline but equa\lly raise our consciousness on the need to collectively uphold the culture of zero tolerance to corruption.
The Bible states in Tim.2: 16-17,'' All scripture is given by God. And all Scripture is useful for teaching and showing people the things that are wrong in their lives. It is useful for correcting faults and teaching how to live right using the Scripture(by intuition). The person who serves God will be ready and will have everything in it to do every good work.''
Quran 2: 185,'' The Holy Quran is a guide  to mankind, it is also a clear sign for guidance  and judgment between right and wrong.....''
Quran 61: 2-3,'' Oh ye who believe! Why say ye that which you do not? Grievously  hateful is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which  ye do not.''
Our problem in Nigeria is that we do not live by what we profess, yet we claim to be educated-Western or Arabic. Is it not highly embarrassing that with the uncountable number of Churches and Mosques and other faith-based organizations, the multitude of schools and our experts in various fields of human endeavor and with all successive governments expected to bring about the much needed positive change for the restoration of institutional discipline and zero tolerance to corruption, we are up, till this moment, yet to have a breakthrough.  Our been practical by living by what we profess will ever help Nigeria to develop a sustainable legacy of good citizenry and good governance to the next generation. Let us uphold the contents of Quran 59:18,'' Oh ye who believe! Fear Allah and let every soul look to what provision, He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea fear Allah: For Allah is well acquainted with all that you do.
