Truth avails a nation while falsehood destroys it.
It also strengthens the bond of truce while falsehood weakens the ties of friendship.
In all spheres of human life, truth is an essential element for peaceful co-existence and interpersonal relationships on socio-political, economic, and business transactions.
Truth has to do with fulfillment and sincerity in agreement, keeping promises, respect for the oath of allegiance, and holding in trust resources for distribution based on the equity concept.
This is the reason why the concept of truth could be described as a fundamental code of life that must be learned and taught across the limes of formal, informal, and non-formal education to serve as the backbone of all socialization processes.
The element of truth, if altered, will always produce leaders without credibility and will ever rubbish efforts in realizing good governance.
Truth dictates that wealth acquisition must follow legitimate means for the resources to be able to create an impact on the expected targetted areas without creating room for agitations.
The Holy Quran 2: 42 refers, '' And cover not the Truth when ye know what it is what it is.''
Above all, education is fundamental to the realization of the truth in any society.
This must reflect in all processes of parenting, friendship, teaching, and learning, scripture compliance challenge, business transactions, and political activities.
The truth must manifest in everyone and the society as the conformity to facts and reality.
