Salvation

Who can be saved? by Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 3The purpose of every religion is to reform adherents in order that the individual would be able to live within the comfort zone of the God/man relationship to be able to be a good citizen of a society that is reliable and dependable and trustworthy with exemplary lifestyles. No religion, therefore, teaches evil. The crack in the wall of religious people usually gives room for the infiltration of satanic influences for the individual to misbehave in society as a non-scripture compliant person.

Adherents must not lose sight of their soul purification essence not to derail from obeying and hearkening to the voice of God to be able to live exemplary lifestyles.

The curriculum, therefore, to drive the vehicle of every religion is the scripture upon which such religion dynamics solely rests for the purpose of the correct assessment for appropriate judgment based on how we run our lives.

Salvation 1

The Holy Bible Luke 18: 24-29, refers, ''And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

25For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

27And he said The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

28Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

29And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,''

In the same vein, the Holy Quran asserts that we must give God the almighty Allah the first place of consideration in the order of our priorities if we are to be saved. Chapter 9: 23-24 refers, '' O ye who believe! Take not for protectors your fathers and your mothers, if they love infidelity above Faith: If any of you do so, they do wrong. Say: If it is that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates or you are kindred: the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce which he fears a decline: or dealings in which ye delight-are dearer to you than Allah or His messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings His decision: And Allah guides not the rebellious''.

The Holy Bible in Matthew 10: 37 corroborates the above-stated assertion. ''37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.''

Christians and Muslims upon which the mantle of leadership falls must critically assess themselves against the backdrop of the above-stated assertion of the almighty God on the necessity to be scripture compliant in words, acts, deeds, thoughts, and body language to be able to live exemplary lifestyles.

People who can be saved are those who are scripture compliant without any form of impunity, frivolities, and waywardness.
