Patience

Prof 1Patience is a virtue of socio-spiritual importance that has direct bearing to correct attitudinal responses to certain reactions that may be considered to be hurtful to the person without exhibiting any form of overreactions or fire for fire approach to issues.
It is a characteristic of maintaining calmness even in the height of provocation, such people with this kind of character always develop high resilience to any circumstance that may be meant to disturb their psychological being.
Patience is a therapy that can effectively manage people's overbearing towards one in order that one does not fall into the pit of misbehavior or any form of a misdemeanor.
However, this does not encourage a state of docility whereby one's fundamental human rights are being trampled upon without the ability to correct the situation.
Patience in this circumstance demands that the state of calmness is maintained while strategic methods are been developed and applied to resolve possible conflict of opinions in a way that oppressors would heed the voice of wisdom to avoid things from falling apart.Pa
Most of our experiences in life which usually snowball into violence or insurgence have been traced to the leaders or handlers of messy situations to lack the wherewithal or patience.
Agitations and the expression of grievances are natural phenomena that can easily be overcome by leaders with listening ears and passion for the wellness, safety, and security of their people under the culture of patience and integrity.
The best leaders in life are those who can still keep their calm in the face of agitations while working at the same time to douse the tension and do the needful such as providing the missing links.
A leader must be able to endure unpleasant situations without annoyance, to show understanding of the psyche of the people.
They must equally be tolerant even under distress while remaining focused on the sources of the people's agitation as well as using the retinue of the experts around them to provide and supply the people based on their demands and their needs.
Patience easily regulates and controls the emotional outbursts of people for their body systems not to be biologically disturned because in the height of provocation and emotional outbursts, forced hormonal discharges may need to be detoxified by patience therapy.
