The Negative Influences

Govt 1Human development is a major prerequisite for national development.

However, the Federal, State and Local Governments have been lackadaisical in ensuring the development of the appropriate manpower that ought to impact positively on the country.
Young boys and girls, who are, of course, students of Primary and Secondary schools in different parts of the country, are a reflection of the rotten state of the education sector in Nigeria.
Indecently dressed, disrespectful, rude, wayward, and equipped with obscene language, these children have continuously exhibited behavior and attitude that does not suggest that they have a future.
Of great concern, is the terrorism traits they also display, in addition to the taking of outlawed hard drugs such as Indian hemp.
Sadly, the parents of these children subtly encourage them to embrace criminality as a means to an end, since the affected parents had a similar upbringing.

Govt

Furthermore, teenage prostitutes soliciting for partons is commonplace everywhere, while the same applies to their male counterparts. Indeed, homosexuality has gained more ground in Nigeria.
Fathers and Mothers, who reside along Molusi, Solanke, Oyegbami, Oshodi, Scout Camp, and Felele communities among others in Ibadan, Oyo state, openly consent to their children's engagement in criminality. This explains the high number of hotels, beer parlors, and ''Ogogoro'' joints in these communities, which serve as solace to various categories of criminals such as kidnappers, armed robbers, ritualists, and car snatchers.

Of great worry, is the increasing population of illiterates among the young and the old alike, just as accusing fingers point to the leadership for aiding and abetting criminals in these times of insecurity, economic stagnation, deceit, and treachery.
Sadly, those in the category of Not-Too-Young-To-Run, who are fortunate to be elected or appointed into public offices at all levels of government have become negative influences to the Nigerian youth.

Ramadan Fast(Daily Guide) By Prof. Sabitu Olagoke

Prof 1Sunday 18th April

Be reminded that the first 10 days of Ramadan fast is regarded as that of mercy, ask yourself if there have been any changes in your life towards this direction for you to be able to make possible adjustments in the following process of going about the Ramadan fast. Don't play the loser. Ramadan Kareem.

Monday 19th April

A solid foundation to every building always makes it withstand the test and the tides of the time without experiencing any form of collapse.

Body preservation from sins needs to be backed up with the determination not to return to the same after the fast. Equally, avoid criminal tendencies that may be forced through the sense of vengeance of lack. Observe the fast wisely. Ramadan Kareem.

Tuesday 20th April

Be reminded of evil in the following acts that have been condemned by the scriptures and that they are equally totally prohibited during and after the Ramadan fast for the Muslims.

1) Drunkenness.

2) Illicit affairs.

3) Hate speech.

4)Curse.                                                                                                                                          Ra 1

5)Backbiting.

6)Slander.

7)Adultery.

Be affirmative in refraining from them(Holy Quran 5: 89-90/2: 219/17:32/ Holy Bible Proverbs 20: 1/Matt 5: 27-28).

Ensure you digest the above-mentioned verses. Ramadan Kareem.

Wednesday 21st April

The benefit of the month of Ramadan starts with the first 10 days of its observance because it is a period when all sincere minds in the sacred month receive the blessing of answers to prayer requests for wishes to be fulfilled.

However, you still need to bear in mind that eating and drinking during the day, in the month of Ramadan, break your fasting. Having sexual intercourse during the day equally damages it.

To break fats with alcohol during this holy month patents you as an unserious mind that hates himself.

The Ramadan fats is a divine design that goes beyond mere human wishful thinking in concept and design. Be sensible. Ramadan Kareem.

Thursday, 22nd April

Refrain from deceit, but be part of those whose souls must be saved and their bodies reformed for them to be able to transform their nations as an immediate environment that must be sustainable for habitation.

This is why we must not trivialize the opportunities given to us by God to be alive with our correct senses to be able to get actively involved in this year's Ramadan fats to correct the ills and aberrations wrecking the whole land.

Don't limit the goal of piety and the fear of God to the period of the Ramadan fast only, but be spiritually rejuvenated to be able to wrestle power for the people of God in order that Satan is rendered impotent and put to shame. Ramadan Kareem.

Expose Criminals in your Community-Namibia Police Boss

Cr 1Namibians have been advised to be security conscious and vigilant as a step towards checkmating the insecurity in the country.
This advice was given by the Erongo Police Regional Commander for community affairs, inspector Ileni Shapumba.
“We are happy that people are speaking out. Thieves are all around you. If they do not rob you today, they will do so one day, whether they are your relatives or neighbors. It is important to hand them over to the police. We are warning criminals that they will soon be arrested if they do not stop their activities,”

Don't Force COVID 19 Vaccines on Nigerians- Labor Leader to Govt.

TyThe Federal and State Governments have been called upon not to compel workers and Nigerians in General to take the COVID 19 vaccination.
This call was made by an ex-officio of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress, who is also a former Chairman of the TUC, Comrade Andrew Eemelieze.
''The government at all levels are called upon not to force workers in particular and Nigerians in general, to take the COVID 19 vaccinations. And for the politicians who have taken the vaccines jabs, we demand that proper tests should be conducted so as to ascertain if what they took was the COVID 19 vaccines because people are in doubt of what was actually administered to the politicians'', Comrade Emelieze stated.

Patience

Prof 1Patience is a virtue of socio-spiritual importance that has direct bearing to correct attitudinal responses to certain reactions that may be considered to be hurtful to the person without exhibiting any form of overreactions or fire for fire approach to issues.
It is a characteristic of maintaining calmness even in the height of provocation, such people with this kind of character always develop high resilience to any circumstance that may be meant to disturb their psychological being.
Patience is a therapy that can effectively manage people's overbearing towards one in order that one does not fall into the pit of misbehavior or any form of a misdemeanor.
However, this does not encourage a state of docility whereby one's fundamental human rights are being trampled upon without the ability to correct the situation.
Patience in this circumstance demands that the state of calmness is maintained while strategic methods are been developed and applied to resolve possible conflict of opinions in a way that oppressors would heed the voice of wisdom to avoid things from falling apart.Pa
Most of our experiences in life which usually snowball into violence or insurgence have been traced to the leaders or handlers of messy situations to lack the wherewithal or patience.
Agitations and the expression of grievances are natural phenomena that can easily be overcome by leaders with listening ears and passion for the wellness, safety, and security of their people under the culture of patience and integrity.
The best leaders in life are those who can still keep their calm in the face of agitations while working at the same time to douse the tension and do the needful such as providing the missing links.
A leader must be able to endure unpleasant situations without annoyance, to show understanding of the psyche of the people.
They must equally be tolerant even under distress while remaining focused on the sources of the people's agitation as well as using the retinue of the experts around them to provide and supply the people based on their demands and their needs.
Patience easily regulates and controls the emotional outbursts of people for their body systems not to be biologically disturned because in the height of provocation and emotional outbursts, forced hormonal discharges may need to be detoxified by patience therapy.

Pa 1
Various problems on the ground always emanate from the psychological need challenges whereby people's anxieties are raised, when the denial of access for the body wellness need or cause.
This is when we have food insecurity, shelter inadequacy, and clothing for weather or environment security.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs covers the whole cycle of child-rearing to a nature nurturing need point.
When the elements of physiological need, safety and security, social need, self-esteem, and self-actualization cannot be met, people may become impatient under the system of a survival need.
Patience in this wise needs to be built while pressures should be mounted on the leaders for adequate provision with strategic plans and effective dialogue process without abuse or hate speech for the leaders' patience not to be triggered into annoyance otherwise, the goal may be missed.
The culture of patience, therefore, is Germaine from the governed and the leaders to be able to have an enabling environment of peace for all these apparatus of governance to operate well. At the homefront, it is only through patience that children can be reared rightly, while patience is equally highly significant in the operations of governance. Patience is equally a powerful tool to drive through the culture of the dignity of labor, due process in purchase transactions as well as in being morally disciplined enough not to be tempted into the spoils of office, otherwise, the quick money-making syndrome may influence one to be corrupt.
Patience is borne by love, truth, and a sense of objectivity to be rightly accountable without fear after every exercise of the day's work.
Be patient and hardworking for sustainable wealth that is bequeathable to be yours.

Treach

The Preservation of Treachery

Treach 1The only way to deal with the government at all levels is for the electorate to have the effective right to have performed below expectations.

Nigeria is in dire need of highly intelligent lawmakers, who are self-willed and not unreliable political jobbers.

Indeed, the disheartening and unfortunate state of the nation is a good reflection of the incompetence of the leadership at all levels.

Of great worry is the fact that those who represent Nigerians alongside Those-in-Charge have failed woefully to meet their expectations, rather the exploitation of the people's long-suffering is now the trend.

In the last five years, the lawmakers have consistently ruined the lives of Nigerians, while the quality of life of the masses is yet to improve.

The lawmakers have been deliberately maneuvered, in a bid to erode the relevance of the opposition.

Those who pay the piper dictate the actions of those in the National and State Houses of Assembly.

Even though the leadership of the Legislature at all levels may mean well, the overbearing influence of the Executive is an imperative guide.

This is a dispensation of polluted governance, the emphasis is on money, not conscience.

Sadly, leadership is in the market for sale to the highest bidder.

Ignorance, mediocrity, and treachery are now some of the hallmarks of governance today, as exhibited by a number of Those-in-Charge, weeks ago inside the fortress, in an attempt to politically preserve their treacherous activities.

Sec 1

The Unabated Influx of Cultists

SecThe increasing presence of cultists on the streets of several communities in Oyo state, with covert consent and approval from a sizable number of residents, has become a source of concern for Nigerians.

Of worry, is the fact that law enforcement agents are aware of their heavy presence, but feign ignorance, even as names of estate developers have become recurring in discussions among Nigerians.
In the Molusi, Olorunsogo, Molete/Felele/Scout camp areas of Ibadan, weird-looking cultists, a number of whom are accommodated in an unpainted block of four flats(2 bedrooms)(No. 1 Kehinde Aderibigbe street, in the Olorunsogo, Molete area) move about without shirts, while openly drinking alcohol in sachets and smoking Indian hemp, to the consternation of innocent residents.

Sec 2
Their unruly and wayward conduct always disrupts public peace and constitutes a nuisance to the environment. Those in the unpainted building operate in a grey-colored Toyota Camry car(no number) with tinted glasses.
The above is a good representation of several communities in Oyo state.
Sadly, the unabated increase in the population of cultists in communities in Oyo state, justifies the insinuation by keen watchers of the development that same are useful to those in charge, for unknown purposes.

A Wise Person and a Foolish Person

Prof 1Most often one wonders why the religious sphere is usually full of ort at the expense of producing adherents with credible leadership traits for the society to enjoy.

People with the fear of God will be able to use due process in going about social advancement for development through the demand for administration, management, and good governance for a well-ordered society.

One equally wonders why the Judiciary is not promoting the culture of justice and impactful life of truth for all the machinery of social operations not to be corrupted.

Why is it that people who voted for a change are not reaping the fruits of their commitment at the polls, in the legislative arm of government with the recurring decimal of policymaking without impact to affect a positive change in the lives of the people?

Wonders shall never end when people reap the dividends of democracy as policy somersaults and poor policy implementation by the people who constitute the executive arm of government.

If the head is sick the whole body feels the ache of ill health.

Life

This is the plight of a nation with so much material and human resources, have its people in their daily cries due to hunger in the climate of poverty through consequential attendance of uncontrollable corrupt practices and 92 percent poverty index, such as the case of Nigeria in the 21st century.

The solution to this problem lies in tracing the causes with a positive mindset of correcting the weaknesses.

The Holy Bible Matthew 7: 24-27, ''24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell: and great was the fall of it. ''

A scenario of hunger and poverty amidst plenty of resources-human and material bothers on the non-functionality of education, formal and informal as well as a misplaced order of priority in the houses of God whereby religious leaders are not scripture compliant.

This thereby reflects in the general attitude of religious leaders that produce people into the market of political activities.

aThe position of the Holy Quran on this is assertive.

10: 36,'' But most of them follow nothing but conjecture: truly conjecture can be of no avail against Truth. Verily Allah is well aware of all that they do.''

Many developing nations suffer so much under their leaders as a result of the above-mentioned illness in areas of knowledge acquisition to produce expertise in the various areas of disciplines of human endeavor.

Various ills of the society as aptly summarized by the Holy Quran 5: 62-63 has become culturally endemic, making the land have a gory picture of disabled people in the hands of wicked leaders that daily dehumanize them into a risky region that threatens all investors, indigenous or foreign because of the fear of safety and security of the environment.

''Many of them dost thou see rasing each other in sin and transgression and their eating of things forbidden(corruption). Evil indeed is the things that they do.''

This is why the land can aptly be described through the submissions of the Holy Quran 30: 41-42.

''Mischief has appeared on land, sea, and air because of the need that the hands of men earned that Allah may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back from evil.

Say:'' Travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before you: Most of them were idolators(frivolous and wayward).''

The description of 21st-century human behavior goes beyond the realm of scarsm, which neither calls for derisive laughter nor object of neglect, but instead calls for a sober reflection for leaders of thought to beyond rhetoric of effecting changes.

The Holy Quran 25: 44 is now food for thought to continually ponder on calling for a drastic change from a lukewarm attitude to that of sense and sensibilities.

''Or thinkest thou but most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle,-nay, they are farther astray from the way.''

Those who have ears must listen and hear the words to operationalize on it for a positive change of attitude for better world order.

In this context, I stand by the submission of the Holy Quran 30: 43-44. ''But set thou thy face to the right Religion, before there come from Allah the Day which there is no chance of averting: on that Day shall men be divided into two. Those who rejected faith will suffer from that rejection: and those who walk righteousness will make provisions for themselves(in Heaven).

Let's right our present history of foolishness, but be wise enough to generate a fruitful future based on truth as a bequeathable legacy to our immediate future generation.

Tomorrow may be too late. Believe this and accept the truth today.

Strategies against Filthiness

The indiscipline attitude of the people has brought about the depreciation of the environment.
Presently, heaps and heaps of refuse characterize the environment in most states.
Sadly, the lack of political will coupled with the very weak resolution of the government has impeded the effective enforcement of laws and policies.
Indeed, the environment of  Olorunsogo, Molete, and several other communities in Ibadan, Oyo state are sick and shall remain so, until the residents are compelled to do the right thing.

Gar
Strangely, the occupants of No. 5 Kehinde Aderibigbe Street, Olurnsogo, Molete(two-story building) mobilized other residents of the community to vandalize and convert the private property at No. 3 to a refuse dump.
The culture of the people now includes among others, throwing out waste materials indiscriminately and in any available space, while dumping of garbage and other harmful material continue unabated.
Although most state governments assume some responsibilities of ensuring a habitable environment, same have failed to develop strategies toward the sanitation of the environment.
Of note, is that roadside traders, criminals on motorcycles, and cultists thrive in states where those in charge desperately seek political preservation.
Of worry, is that various categories of criminals converge daily in a space  directly opposite the entry of the Government House in a state to ply their trade
The mind-boggling human and financial resources that have been sunk in the fight against the filthy environment in most states is now the debate among the people.
The involvement of the private sector in environmental sanitation has had little or no impact on the environmental conditions of major cities in Nigeria, except for the monetary gains for the contractors.
Curiously, community leaders and other residents have over the years provided moral and financial support for cultists and other categories of criminals mainly because they reap indirect benefits from criminality.
